I think when it was "Kamp" that was the last name of the K-Motion valve spring folks/owners. I still call it Boswell, like I still call Tri-City "Granite City." I like when tracks are just named after their location, or even the road they're on. Makes it a little easier to figure out where they are located, at least back before the internet and all that stuff.

It was Boswell to us also, I believe it was called Henrys Speedway when we were going there in the early 70's.

I still call it "Henry's Speedway" as it was known the first time I was there in 1972.

The name really doesn't matter. It's all about track prep and good side by side racing. Anything else is just icing on the cake in my opinion.
