unpopular racing opinion

I posted this on my FB yesterday and had pretty good response, so i was interested to ask on here. Whats an unpopular racing opinion you have? Ive got many but i think there should be no weekly qualifying for any class

My unpopular opinion is that every short track racing class should be fuel injected.

FWD cars make for a terrible starter class.

That a racing program shouldnt last longer then 3 1/2 hrs. Many seem to think its getting your moneys worth to sit until 2 in the morning

Along with the overall length of the program, any intermission shouldn't last more than 20 minutes.

If your program is longer than 4 hours there shouldn't be an intermission ever.

I am anti-sanction and anti-provisional. I want to see the sanction regulars pack up and go home before the A.

No late model feature needs to be more than 50 laps. And no sprint car feature more than 30.

I don't care how late I stay at the track, the more classes, the better! Exactly right BDF: The longer I am there, the more bang for my buck I am getting. When I goto the track, I have "Gone Racing" and I will be home when I get home.
I can leave at any time, my car is just right out there if I get cold or bored or tired.

And DoD is a waste of money.

Winged Sprints are the best dirt race division. > Late Models.
I dont mind modifieds, sometimes they are the best show of the night.
Midgets suck. Just go-carts IMHO.
And I could go on and on....

My unpopular opinion would be to have more 100 lap races. I love when you have comers and goers through out the coursr of a 100 lap race. Also I used to love the mandatory fuel stops at half way. But thats just me...

I dunno, most of my opinions are pretty popular, some not as much, but here goes:

1. That crate anything is boring, socialistic in nature and promotes lazy tech.
2. That the Rumley rule should be tossed.
3. That the new, "droop" rule is a move in the right direction.
4. A sportsman type class should never pay more than $500 to win, but last should still get $250, like Racesaver.
5. Limited Late Model should be "limited" to factory blocks and heads.
6. Newer design factory V8 engines should be legal to run.
7. That FC seats should NOT be mandatory or at the very least no mandatory sfi rating.
8. Cage heights should be raised a minimum of 2 inches.
9. Fewer classes, show goes no later than 11:00
10. Fuel injection, Coil packs and Turbos would help attract the younger generation.

4 wide salute has gotten too popular and should only be held at a few events each year. I'm tired of going to a $3,000 to win late model special and having a 4 wide salute when the start of the feature is past 11:00.
