ill take last nights track any day over what they had there last year

The track was great both nights. It was moist and hooked up last night, but it wasn’t rough. I’ve seen far, far worse tracks than that. It sure didn’t bother Richards, Bronson or Tyler Erb.

The only thing that maybe the track could have done was to knock down that cushion. It looked pretty brutal. Davenport really got burnt when he pushed up and rolled the nose under. That shouldn't happen at the beginning of a race in my opinion. I gotta give him credit for limping that thing home in 10th.

Sorry but the track was terrible tonight. Yes Josh started in the back and won. Several guys that started near the tail and moved forward. Never stated anything about that. The track was WFO for 60 laps. Could have been 160 laps and it would still be that way. It had WAY too much traction in it all night. The heats were single file on the cushion. Tracks prepped like that are engine killers and car killers. Look at how many finished. The racing was better on night 1 because it wasn't wide open. JS

Agree.....you know theres an issue when Josh and Randall voiced their concerns over hurting another motor due to the conditions!

My opinion is from a fan in the bleachers perspective. The fans loved it both nights. I fully understand the wear on equipment and motors on a heavy track. If I was a car owner, I'd want the track dryer. As a fan, I just want to see passing.

The problem is when drivers complain because the track is too dry, as they did after the race Friday night. Davenport said they needed to tear up the track and soak it. So that's what they did Saturday morning. Then the sun went away and it stayed wet. They had 60 cars on the track trying to dry it out.

The effort was made to appease the drivers, but it's not an exact science and never will be. Bottom line is, you can't please everyone. Somebody is going to complain, regardless what you do.

He was awesome. May have been the 2nd most consistent driver of the weekend.

So how does tech work when you pull out a backup? Did lucas inspect Josh's backup before he went out?

You shouldn't ever complain about too much water in a racetrack when in this day in age track prep is usually pretty lazy.

Lazy?!?!?!? My definition of lazy is a track or sanctioning that drowns the track like that and then makes the premier class pack the track with our $100k plus race cars for almost 30 minutes!!!

Have not seen the race yet anyway, but if any track that has decent moisture is terrible then I hope you have a horrible season, filled with tacky hammer down races!!! hahahahaaa
