    Putnam County Speedway for sale (Florida)

    Nice facility for sale!

    Track will probly need new clay!

    How bout it Stewart, Schraeder, or Jr?

    Back in the 80's I would visit with the promoter at the promoters Daytona workshops...he was a hoot!

      Seems like Buck Simmons won a big race there back in either the NDRA days or HAT... I think it was a HAT race mid 90's, but he more than likely won an NDRA race there too if they had any. I learned a lot from the Living Legend, I'll always be grateful, one of a kind.

        Couldn't find what i was looking for, but an interesting side note, the HavaTampa Series had speedweeks there in 1991.

          Its a totally different facility now.

          A man named Stan Potter bought it and poured a ton of money into it. He was a good owner but a poor promoter!

            There's no "probably" about it needing a totally new surface. The surface is basically a dusty beach now. $900,000 for it, haha no way. Not even close.

              They were asking 1.9 mil last year! lol

              Last time I raced there the track was about 50% sand!
