Smoky Mountain races could help determine Bloomquist's plans for 2018

Reports have it that Bloomquist is considering between WoO Late Models and Lucas. The races at Smoky Mountain could go a long way toward determining his plans.

Don’t think it’d do any good. Far as I know, Scott isn’t on any of that stuff.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

This has got to be fake news. I read on here that this talk was only Bloomer playing mind games!?!?!?!

Just curious... Say ole Bloomers does make this move, is he running from or to the toughest competition?

I don't think any choice Scott makes would be him "running" to or from anything, merely a business decision to give himself the best chance to earn the most money.
If Scott comes in and sweeps Smoky Mountain (which based on his past there is entirely possible) it would be real hard not to follow the WoO Series. If that happens, he would be the point leader on that series.
It seems like it'd be hard to walk away from that, in order to run a series where you're in a 3 race hole.
I'm not sure about logistics, but Scott could theoretically hold off until March 23rd. He could run the Smoky Mountain races, and Atomic, Brownstown and Bull's Gap. After the Gap, he could decide.....Farmer City....or Boyd's?

That dude is a master at making himself the center of attention. When he finally retires he should right a book on PsyOps in racing. LOL Best of luck in 18' Mr Bloomquist, it should be interesting.

The only thing he is running, is the table. Always the topic of conversation.

Ok cool. I haven't heard much about this guy. Did he race trucks over at nascar before? Thought maybe I heard he did. Thanks

I will give him that, he does always seem to pull the focus toward himself. He's great at that side of marketing himself.
I guess it's good to be the show, but if you can't be the show....be the story

Lol, Sir blackie. He did run trucks once....but you don't wanna know how it turned out.

Bloomerharvick nailed it. No idea why they are saying he could/should decide so early. Run both until races overlap. Chose whichever holds the best chance of him cashing in another championship.

Doesn't matter to me what series he runs. He runs WoO he'll get to see some new places or places he hasn't been to in awhile. Which also results in selling more merchandise. Maybe he wants to win another WoO. When was the last one? Around 2004? Richards is the only one in the current era to have titles in both series.

I believe he will go where the $$ are. He is 53 54 years old now?, how many more does he have? You gotta make the money while you can.

I think it will go down just as the article says, he runs good and wins the next couple WoO shows, see ya Lucas...

                          Just say no...

If that's the plan then he might as well run the outlaw schedule and just run the big money shows and not follow a series

Your forgetting that when you follow a series you get show up money, and other incentives. That adds up over the course of the year. Then the Title is a Big Bump.

As easy as it sounds to people on 4m.net, winning a "Big Show" is not that easy, and sometimes there is a bit of luck involved. So focusing on winning a lot of 10k to win races with smaller less stout competition is the better path.

                              Just say no...
