That is true. There is alot of pro's and con's to consider when it comes to running Lucas/WoO/Outlaw Schedule

He thought he was smarter than the NASCAR engineers, he was not lol.Originally posted by Chris Thomason View PostLol, Sir blackie. He did run trucks once....but you don't wanna know how it turned out.
Bloomerharvick nailed it. No idea why they are saying he could/should decide so early. Run both until races overlap. Chose whichever holds the best chance of him cashing in another championship.Up in the air who my next “favorite†driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normalâ€.

Well, if we are not paying his bills, not really for us to decide. The WoO and Lucas are close enough I wouldn’t consider it a wuss move. It would be a business decision. If he followed like the SAS or Ray Cook’s stuff, then yeah, wuss move.Originally posted by TerryM View PostAgreed.
If he doesn't, and decides to chase an easier series, it would be possibly the most cowardly move I've ever seen in any sport I'm a fan of. There's no way this happens.
How many times has Moyer started running bad, and taken his ball back to running $2-5k shows around home? Quite a bit, as is his choice, because he has to make a smart business decision, and what makes sense to him.Up in the air who my next “favorite†driver is. Oh yeah. I think in the first round of practice he was real quick, then he worked his “magic†on it and made it a turd.Originally posted by WisWildManFan View PostWish he would of got in the thing and just drove it... Will see what happens since his performance at speedweeks wasn't what he was expecting. I'm sure lucas and the deal with sweet would not have happened if he was jumping ship. I also keep saying, as much as I would like to see him stay in the seat, time is creeping up on Bloomquist. Lucas , with the TV deal, has become the premier series. Some deny when that time comes and they lose those tenths that add up to seconds. Right now, everyone is chasing the xr -1's, if there on when the car hits the surface, there's a lot of chasing going on.

I don't see the sweet deal having anything to do with bloomers future plans. Sweet products are used on every car.Originally posted by dirtcrazy4u View PostWill see what happens since his performance at speedweeks wasn't what he was expecting. I don't know how much testing they got to do if any, but it was a miscalculation to show up and just undo what had already been learned with one bold move. I think given enough time he could've adjusted the truck to have been better than it ended up being, but we'll never know. I like sway bars, but I also know the history of DLM and why they ended up falling out of favor and why the majority think they don't work on dirt. My guess is since he's always run dirt w/o one he thought it would just work without it, but there are a lot of fallacies that exist to this day in dirt late model racing about setup and design. People tend to follow the herd, so its rare for much new to be discovered because of it. Its why we have 4 link cars running the way they do today, because its what you see everyone else having success with. Not to knock Rocket, they win a lot, but daily I run into people on here and elsewhere that truly believe that, NOT running an XR1 with and Andy Durham Ford engine and Mark Richard Integras is not only foolish but dangerous. They watch someone struggle at one track with something new or different and they immediately jump to the conclusion that the ONLY solution is to quickly call Shinnston WV and order a duplicate house car and put Mark on speed dial. This is after only 2 weeks and being on the road. Its seems not many have the courage these days to learn anything for themselves, they believe they must buy it and be told explicitly how to use it. How do they suppose Mark learned what he knows? Or Moyer? Or Bloomquist? Or you fill in the blank? If you are running a tour you better get results quick, you cant just play around for 6 weeks trying things you will be discouraged and broke..all those guys learned racing on a lot lesser stage than what we have now...Originally posted by CageFaraday View PostI don't know how much testing they got to do if any, but it was a miscalculation to show up and just undo what had already been learned with one bold move. I actually think Bobby will be fine NOT running Integras, his ARS shocks are just fine, just maybe his setups needs a tweak since he's new to those cars. Speed weeks is only a little over 2 weeks long, on tracks they won't see the likes of again till next February.Originally posted by Illtsate32 View PostIf you are running a tour you better get results quick, you cant just play around for 6 weeks trying things you will be discouraged and broke..all those guys learned racing on a lot lesser stage than what we have now...“Yeah, well, you know, that’s just, like, your opinion, man.†— The Dude
