It is a good option, but there isn't much room. You'll have to be there really early to get a spot. They've got some info posted on their Facebook page about it. You can see a lot better from the grandstands IMO.

A few clarifications for next weekends Tennessee Tipoff Classic:

For $20 you can purchase a Reserved Spot In Tier Parking. This does not reserve you a certain spot but guarantees there will be a spot somewhere waiting on you.

So if you have a favorite spot in Tier Parking and you purchased a Reserved Spot it is still recommended to get the the track as early as possible to ensure you get that spot or somewhere close.

I have had several questions regarding keeping your vehicle in a Tier Spot for the weekend. If and ONLY IF you purchase the $20 Reserved Spot and ALL THREE DAY’S Admission ahead of Time. You can purchase these now on WoO Website or Thursday at the Gate. NO DISCOUNTS WILL BE HONORED AFTER WEDNESDAY EVENING. No vehicle swapping allowed just drop off and go to your vehicle. No reserving spots with lawn chairs. Anything other than a vehicle will be moved before Gates open.

Dry Camping is available for $20 at the back of Tier Parking and the back of the Grandstands. We will let campers in earlier than Tier Gates open to get you off the rd.

I agree with GearPlate. It can be good, but there isn't much room and you have to get there early. To me, the stands are a better option as you get a better view of the track.

They're supposed to be marking off the spots to make sure they aren't too tight and people trying to take up a little extra room that would prevent another person from getting a spot.
