There's rumor that Tim Schaffer, the winner of the Sprint Car World Championship this past weekend is going to climb into a late model that weekend. We shall see.

I've seen him in a crate several times. He's much better in a sprint car, believe me!

He's drove for Buck Johnson in the past, they made a couple trips to Eldora for the dream and world. They never made the show, but i thought he looked decent for a crossover driver imo. He is much better in a sprint though.

The best way to raise this million dollar purse is to start with 2 million.........This was said years ago and still holds true today...................On any given weekend it takes $70,000 dollars to win $10,000............read between the lines.

Well the purse is pretty dead at 325k. Hasnt gone up much lately. I figured it would be at around 500k by now to help promote the event,but havent heard much.
