Pumped About A Close Race On My Off Day!! Whos Going To Bulls Gap?
A Lucas race within couple hours of me on one of my crappy off days, wish more of these races would happen through the season. Anybody else have shatty off days and have to use valuable vacation time to see a few races through the year? You M-F guys have no idea how lucky you are I bet haha!

I worked 12 hour shifts, at night, with only every other weekend off. So even when I was off, I was half asleep! So I feel your pain.
On the plus side, You can sense your excitement so enjoy the show! I've never been to the Gap but have heard great things about it. Isn't that the crazy fast place? I'd love to make it down some day. -
Its claim to fame is the 'Worlds Fastest Half Mile' if I'm not mistaken. I like it because of the view from turn 2. Its like watching a race with someone shoveling dirt and throwing it in your face, but I've never seen a point of view quite like it. Well worth the price of the pit pass IMO. And every now and then you'll catch a NASCAR guy in town for Bristol giving it a shot, kinda cool.Comment

The Gap is great. I hope we have good weather for it.
But, if you really want fast, you need to go to Tazewell. That place is lighting fast.
The racing isn't quite as good because of such high speeds, but man they get around it fast.

Bulls gap is my favorite track now It use to be tazwell but the track prep at the gap is a lot better than tazwell they will probably reschedule the gap if forecast holds.Comment

Are you going to say that they scheduled a race in march & are expecting the weather to be 87 degrees and sunny with a low of 74 degrees with a 2 mph wind out of the west. COME ON!!! put your big boy panties on & lets go racing!!! GOOD GRIEF!!!Comment
