The Dirt Million PURSE is now over $300K.
I don't know what the best paying Late Model race of all time is but this race might get close to that or eclipse it.

Current purse is $301,828.00

DOES this make it the best paying Late Model race all time or has there been an event that paid more (Eldora Million)?????

I know the Knoxville Nationals pays like $10K to start for Sprints.

If my math is correct the current payout the race would be around $150,000 to win & $3,000 to start.

The show me was always 10% of win money to start, then every year a 1000.00 was added to win total. I know it got to 42K to win and 4,200 to start and actually paid more then the start money to run around 10th or so by a fair amount and you also didn't have to run 3 or 4 nights and a gazillion laps either. I think 3rd was around 15K, too.

I believe that the World 100 has been over a 300k purse for several years..

not sure you can really compare the Eldora purse that's for 3 full nights of racing.. either way impressive so far
