Senoia's Facebook page is advertising several drivers, including Clanton, McDowell and Bloomquist. Not sure how reliable their page is though. If the weather holds up, me and the Mrs will be coming up Saturday night. I'm not a fan of the facility, but I love that gumbo clay racing surface. -

I was told (reliably, as always) Bloomer won't be there, because they were NOT paying him to show up this year! Supposedly the Facebook site for the track has been "optimistic" (instead of other words) before about who said they were coming, confirmed, etc. We'll see! I'll try to check more websites and talk to folks tomorrow and find out more!Comment

I have never been entirely certain how show-up money works. Do they pay them to come, and then pay them whatever purse money they take home, or is it essentially guaranteeing a certain dollar amount, say 10k...so if he wins, they'd pay nothing extra, but if he doesn't he'd still take home a 10k check??Comment

Several different ways. Bring your rig and 5 crew guys through the gate and dont pay a cent including entry fee plus if you win the race for say 10k you get 12500$ in which 2500$ being cash. If a promoter knows a certain driver will bring 200 fans at 30$ a head plus 10-20$ a piece in the concessions its well worth the investment. Weather not looking very good so lets just hope we get it inComment

Weather for Senoia or Fayetteville?
Senoia looks almost perfect currently.
As for show up $$$, a lot of guys will get guaranteed money against their winnings. Say a guy is promised $2500 to show and only wins $1000, promoter still owes him $1500.Comment

Senoia forecast is rain Thurs, then good. I heard 0 is coming, and bringing Mcdowell & Kinzer. Along with 25 Clanton, 31 Millwood, 101 Roberts, 18x Page & others, & many locals will be a good show!Comment

Weather won't be a issue. Track could be tacky Friday night with the early morning rain and could be the normal slick Saturday with the warmer temps and sun. The facebook page is usually reliable when it comes to drivers attending big races. Posted recently that Culp, Hiett, Hickman, Payne, Buckingham, Loyd, and Boles are coming along with the others already listed. Should be a good weekend and great show!Comment
