Florence Speedway New Alcohol Policy

It was $6 for 16oz. Beer at 2017 Joliet WOO Race. Tracks gotta make money and state wants their tax money.

HH 25, we allow beer to be brought in to Talladega, coolers are very welcome at TST as long as there is no glass. There are many tracks that allow you to bring in the suds.

I've been to quite a few places that allow you to bring in your own beer still.

And like CnB said. Same thing with track food goes along with beer. I'm not there to eat or get hammered. I'm there to watch racing.

It's unheard of to bring outside beer into a track here in Iowa.

I used to bring in a few beers at Florence, but generally always buy a couple at the track also. This won't deter me from going to florence

Beer was really reasonable at the N/S. The track is there to make money. If you can't afford beer don't drink.

No to on site sells for the ones I mentioned. I think most states prohibit carry in when an alcohol license is issued. At Pittsburgh they even have liquor sales as that is part of their licenses.

FALS allows you to bring in outside beer. You have to put it in a cup. As a relative nondrinker it makes me no difference if they allow people to bring in their own.

Rome, Dixie, and Senoia don't sell beer or allow alcohol in the stands. They do, however, allow beer in the trackside parking. I have seen people with beer in the stands at Dixie be ejected.

i dont see a problem with a 4-5 dollar beer, after all its an event, that way maybe some won't drink so much, and if they do the track atleast gets paid to baby sit the fools

Beer sales kept me in business at every track I ran...but we drink a lot of beer in WI.

Folks, Florence charges $2 per beer or 6 beers for $10. You can’t buy it in the store with ice for much less than that. If y’all can’t afford $10 for a 6 pack, ice and bag provided, you should probably stay at the house.

I don't understand what the problem is if they are selling them for 2 bucks a beer 6 for 10 whats the problem unless its not the beer you drink i guess thats the problem what beers do they sale at florence

I don't know of any racetrack that allows beer to be brought in. Their might be some out there that I don't know of. I don't blame any track for not allowing it. They need to make a profit and if alcohol sales help, so be it.

Try packing a 12 pack into Busch Stadium or Wrigley Field and let us know how far you get.

Those last 2 places get plenty of tv revenue.
