What people fail to realize is any type suspension will do anything a different one will. The problems come from ease of adjustment and room. I have heard CJ say a few years ago that a leaf spring may come back. I will say you will never rip a panhard bar perch out with a leaf spring. Toughest lateral locator there is.

True, a lot of racers can still learn somethings, he knew in the 70s. Never heard him call it polar moment but he did it. Almost every racer learned something from him. The laws of physics don't change, just the applications.

Let’s slow down for 1 second. I like the underdog as long as the zero isn’t there. Weiss had the best car if the cushion is not a factor. I will say Rusty is worthy of a shot and if he doesn’t produce then back to the Rayburn cars. Rusty was lapped traffic in Florida. Any car that will turn into a corner and get the RR to the cheat code (as I call it) has a chance. Car looked good but no way he competes on a dry slick track against the big dogs. A cushion had made many of races interesting and broke the hopes for others. I pull for Rusty but he needs a shot at a ride that can compete and run top 1-7week in and out. He had a good run this weekend and surprised many but slow down. CJ isn’t anywhere near national tour level!
