This place is covered up. I've seen over 100 cars here several times but as I was comin in I heard a guy at the pit gate saying they were out of out of room in the pits. I'd say the road in is well over 1/4 mile and cars are still backed up coming in. They've pushed driver meeting back while they get everyone in

37 slm. 132 cars total. Slm hot lap just ended. Hiett, Rettig, and Tanner English look fastest so far. I think they may have missed the prep a little. Lots of black after three classes of hotlap. Maybe we'll be ok.

Had about 15 min delay earlier. Half the lights went out. 602 on the track for heats between the qualifying groups. I don't like it nor understand it. Should go take a nap

Track owners in the south will not plow the track open during the week. They let it stay sealed up then add water on race day. The result is a black track after hot laps. Usually one lane for the rest of the night. I hope it turns out good over there.
