a25rjr, they might allow if you ain't got nobody on it with you 😜.... we was up there last July and this couple behind us probably hit a mattress somewhere not long after they left because they stayed hooked up like 2 dogs d@mn near whole time the races was going on. Between the races and free scenes they was copying from Debbie Does Dallas I'd have to say I kind of liked the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway

It's a long racing season. I usually don't go the first month or the last month.Originally posted by Illtsate32 View PostFrom 1978-2002 when my Dad and I raced they opening night was around April 1st..no matter how cold they would run..losing money was never ever mentioned..its a different time now days back then the stands would be packed no matter the weather I wonder what has changed...

Thats understandable honestly the driver with adrenaline dont really feel the cold and crew guys staying busy keeps the blood flowing..but the spectators I do feel for just sitting there to turn into ice cubes...Originally posted by mcarter815 View PostIt's a long racing season. Saw this on CBSSN the other night. Now I know what Robby Gordon has been up to.

I've watched that before, as well. It's not bad. They get some pretty good speed and some of the "attitudes" the trucks have off the corners is cool looking. I'm a fan of Robby from way back, when he drove for Foyt in the open wheel stuff. There's some names, presumably their kids, as well, like Luyendyk and Brabham.
So my Sat. consisted of working on the car until supper time, then the free UFC undercard fights, then some coverage of the Indy race in Phoenix.
If Race-Monitor is correct, Clarksville only had 2 SLM. Yes, 2! And it looks like it's not necessarily weather related as car counts have been way low for them so far this year. Kudos to them for racing, and I even thought of going, but I couldn't justify the 7 hr drive one way with such low car counts. That's too bad. I've only been there once, and genuinely like the place. Hopefully for the SN race.Last edited by TheJet-09; 04-08-2018, 12:53 AM.
