Thanks for all the condolences on the loss of my friend and team owner, Carlton. What a great guy who will be missed.
Over the years he Fielded cars for Rodney Combs, Clint Smith, Earl Pearson Jr., and his current driver Clint Smith

He was a great man!

Silly question that someone probably knows. Where does the name Dunn-Benson come from? Did Carlton purchase the team or was he one of the founding members. Just curious is all. Thanks in advance.

When He Purchased The Ford Dealership It Was In a Little Town Called Benson, About 6 Miles South Is Dunn After A Few Short Years Out Grew The Place In Benson Relocated To Dunn ,So He Said I Will Call It Dunn Benson Ford, That Way The People In Benson Where It All Started Would Feel Welcome As Well.
