I am looking forward to the first late model race at Montpelier in many years coming up on Saturday, May 5th. Hopefully the weather will cooperate, and they can draw a good crowd and full field of cars. If they can get the guys that have committed to the tour plus some surprises it could be a very good show. Maybe a good turnout will show them that late models don’t have to be just part of the history of the track, but the present and future too.

Schlenk wins, Spangler 2nd, Chamberlain 3rd, Casebolt 4th, Marcoullier 5th from 15th. Schlenk just about lost it coming off of 4 on the last lap. He was the class of the field but had to pass some good cars to win it from 9th.Comment
