My hope is they continue to improve from here and hopefully they have the car setup to fit his driving style. I believe he will continue to struggle on tracks he may never have been to though.
Like centeroff has said if he doesn't learn how to drive on track that doesn't have a cushion and drive the car on the bottom to the middle, which he used to drive in his earlier days then it might be a long season but, once he does that he will be a contender everywhere he goes.

Dlf123, until this weekend he hasn't fared well in the the db xr1. He won one on a locked down track and the other bounsing off the wall. Most places he will go to will have to be won from the middle to bottom. Not his racing style.

Do I really have to explain it? Cut the tubing off the Rocket and cut it off the Pierce little welding sanding and some paint. Voila. lol 😏

Hard to say if the results will continue this way. He’s very familiar with the tracks from this weekend, so the great results aren’t particularly surprising. There’s still a fair amount of tracks left that he hasn’t seen, and I wouldn’t expect him to be nearly as competitive at those places.

That said, a weekend like this one has to do wonders for the confidence. That should help.

He will good at tracks he known run good at. For the tracks he never been to, some he do good at, soon will be a learning curve. There are tracks that Bloomquist, jd, josh and ect don’t really like or run great at.
