I arrived at 6:00 - pleased to see four GA State Troopers and their blue-lite flashing cars on hand, and they were even parking across the street. Track looked ready to race at 6:00, but there was no racing until after 9:00. At "intermission" time, somebody must have dreamed there was some moisture left, and they sent out two packers to pound the track. They were totally successful in creating a dust bowl, making the race unwatchable.

PS: special mention for the local announcer, who makes it his job to summon the cars to the track. I hope I never hear him call the "604s" repeatedly again. It's not his job, the drivers can't hear him, and it annoys the customers.

Had you never been to Lavonia before? It’s a great facility, great people that run it, but is always “late” and “dusty”. Has been the same for 20 yrs, doubt it will ever change?

Any word on what happened to Madden tonight i know he broke but was trying to figure out what broke and if he will be at Gaffney tomorrow night
