ELDORA SPEEDWAY (OH) - June 7 to June 9 - DIRT LATE MODEL DREAM - DRIVER ROLL CALL
Is it me or does this car count seem really low? I know there will be more unexpected entries but for 100K, seems like more guys would at least show up and try!

Probably around 75-90 cars. Everyone is in weekly, or regional championships, and doesn’t venture to The Dream.
Up in the air who my next “favorite†driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normalâ€.
It is 28. You get 18 from the heats, 4 from each bmain, and the 2 top point guys that didn't make from the heats and bmains.
It was 26 before Bshep got hosed when he won the 2 qualifying nights, and didn't make the 100 lapper.
Ahhh yes the days when going really fast at Eldora carried more weight than actually racing in. A guy would set 2nd quick time and you wouldn’t see him again till Saturday night after the heats.
He didn't get hosed. According to the rules, at that time, he didn't race his way in. Thus, the Brandon Shep rule.
Actually, it’s Jon Henry who changed the rules. He was second quick time at the World, and then ran like crap the rest of the weekend. But had a spot because of his time.

It was by the rules, but he got hosed regardless of the rules then. A guy that burned one good lap shouldn't have gotten a starting spot over someone that was the man to beat the nights prior. If you were in his position, how would you feel? I already know how I would've felt.
Original format was qualify 2 laps and you drew 2 #s so you could go out first for your first lap then not again til #200. and that was it for Friday was just qualifing and non qualifiers races so if you werent top 120 you raced friday night then went home. the top 2 qualifiers were locked in for main event start 15-16. NOW THEY changed the format to 2 complete shows thursday and friday and based on your points for those 2 nights sets you up for saturday.
