From Feger's FB: "Since many people are asking. We got pretty lucky with the car in the wreck at Eldora. Washed up and checked it all out today. Bent some normal stuff on the rf. Lower, spindle and ball joint. Other than that it was just door bar and body work. Rear end measures straight and frame appears to be completely straight and fine. Just added some extra work for the week along with the muddy mess from all the rain. We will get it fixed up and be at peoria weds to start the hell tour."Opinions are my own. Shaping up to be a nice tour, at least early, this year. Throw in some of the cross over Lucas/WOO guys and you are going to have some great races. Hopefully we get a good stretch of no rainouts and excessive heat. Hate to see some of these places lock down early because it is super hot out.

I doubt they'd get any more than they do now. It's a serious grind and racing every day for a month just isn't something the overwhelming majority racers can do. It's not just about the drivers, it's about having a crew for that entire month too. The schedule is just way too bloated.Originally posted by MI Dirt Fan View PostJust a thought. What if it paid $100k to win again for 1 season say in 2019. How many do you think would run the entire tour. And who?
The only real way they could pump the car counts back up is to take it back to 10-12 races like it was when it first started.
