I met one man gang there last year ,and was wondering if any other 4mers might be planning to go. Looking forward to saying hello to OMG again and meeting any of you guys....unless you are that one Ownbey fan that 4m has.

I try to go to any lucas race within 4-5 hour drive, but these tracks that split a one night show into two just to charge double admission really get to me. Just gouges the fans and forces people to get a hotel room for the event. I'm going to pass this year.

I'm kinda with quickbiscuit, I am hoping the Clash adapts over time like Eldora and Batesville have going with new formats to get full shows each night. Too many support classes as well, but still a good show. I met One Man Gang down here in Pensacola for the SAS race last year, good people. If I get a wild hair I may drive up Saturday but 4 hours is a long way to go for a feature only. If it was a full show I'd be all in. Plus being on Lucas TV, makes me even less excited about going.
We need to talk OMG into going to the National 100. I may be contradicting myself with the support class thing, but they start at like noon that sunday. That is a crazy a$$ show haha.
I wish the best of luck and weather to all that go!

May be the first and only time in the history of mankind that someone mentioned passing on The Mag, but going to Eams. Like passing on Kate Upton because you're married only to cheat with Rosanne.
It's $20k to win not $12k, so admission has to be more. I don't like the format that much either, but I don't think any gouging is going on.Last edited by B_K; 06-12-2018, 07:54 PM.

I agree with most all of what you guys are saying and tend to be distant from the two day shows as well. A little over two hours drive so I could easily do both days but just won't. Clash at the mag vs national 100 is completely apples to oranges but since we are doing that... Johnny Stokes is simply one of the best promotors there is. Everything will be timely and organized and there isn't room for the too many classes belly achers and b!tchin. The national on the other hand, if your not a "race" fan and just more of a late model guy just stay home. Don't even get dod ppv. Then you can pout about nine and ten classes for a while, show up at the scheduled time for late models, see your hundred laps and go home...
Maybe someone can let us know what's going on tomorrow night during practice.
