Tire testing hurts the little guy way, way more than it gues the big teams. There are guys who wouldn’t be able to keep tires on the car without treating them. Almost nobody realizes that.

I love castleberrys description of the " chain of custody" debacle..........I've heard others say and think out loud about the same exact thing before.

Only difference is ........nothing.

I have preached the chain of custody deal all along. Unless that tire is delivered from the factory in a sealed container, Hoosier cannot guarantee that any tire will conform to any test.

The whole tire testing deal is ridiculous. I can see punching them with a durometer and make sure they fall within a range. It takes no time really and its instant. Plus its FREE. Just my 2 cents. FYI im not a Pierce fan. What these racing sanctions BETTER worry about and spend money on is finding ways to get more participation of cars and fans.
