1st of all let's all hope if Scott has any addictions that he can work through them. But he has made a mockery of dirt track racing in the past 2 weeks. And he thought he could pull the same stunt this week. He shows a total lack of respect for his fellow drivers and the promoters willing to pay out the big bucks to pay these racers. Let's hope he learns from this

So you all think he’s going thru all this trouble of faking a shoulder injury, lying about having to have surgery, dropping off the Lucas tour, and leaving at least $200k in potential earnings on the table all to get out of taking a drug test for a series that will only affect a handful of big races on his schedule for the remainder of the year?
I will agree that it does seem a bit odd that his injury is seems to flare up around testing time. However I also know that once your adrenaline gets pumping that it can do wonders for making you forget about the pain. I also know that just because you may be hurting right now, doesn’t mean you will be in an hour and it doesn’t mean it can’t get worse.
I’m not trying to defend him or say he is or isn’t hurt. I don’t know him personally or know the whole situation. Even though some of the events in this ordeal seem.....fishy.....I don’t think completely unrealistic to say that he is telling the truth. Even the biggest bloomquist hater should have enough common sense to see that he would be going thru a whole heck of a lot of trouble to get out of a simple drug test

How? He shows up, usually takes care of business, and goes home. He brings in fans and haters, making promoters money, and he is a top notch clean driver. In turn making his fellow drivers better. Not a lack of respect, none whatsoever. WRG didn’t make him play ball at Eldora, that’s on them, not Scott.Originally posted by play4kps View Post1st of all let's all hope if Scott has any addictions that he can work through them. I wouldn’t worry about what he does. A true DLM fan should worry about what will happen when he goes. Take a look at NASCAR now to compared to the Earnhardt era. When people drive for hours just to see you lose, you have them by the balls! You can’t call the man a disgrace to the sport that he built. Seems fishy to me honestly, but if he does have a problem we shouldn’t kick him when he is down. Remember, only one man will judge you in the end. I like to joke and have fun but you will never see me happy from any mans misfortune. Well, maybe if the 32 or 49 gets a flat with 3 to go lol

Nothing has been proven is right. Scott made sure of that by trying to skate the system. To me, its a big chicken shi* game hes playing. Im not happy hes gone for now, but under no circumstances am I going to make excuses for his childish antics and bs. And the sport will be just fine without him. Hes not helping the sport grow, hes not in the pits helping the new guys, hes not very cordial to the fans in the pits. And to be honest his bank account and what hes willing to pay to win might be actually hurting the sport. And yes I know he not alone in the wreckless money spent chasing wins.

I hope this is 1997 all over again and he comes back with a new design and outlook. Remember in 1996 the fans and drivers relished in his demise. He was done, broke, never going to be a factor again. LOL. 20 years later he's still on top of the sport.

Not helping the sport grow? How do you think we got to this point now then? lol. Look at every advertisement and see whose name and car is on it. He's a big factor in the growth of the sport. He's helping Weiss and Bronson which are both young and up coming drivers. Talk to drivers in the pits. Most will have a story on how Scott has helped them over the years. Scott is at the track to make money, not to hang out and chat with fans about their work week. LOL. Catch Scott after the race and he will sit with you for hours and entertain you.Originally posted by play4kps View PostNothing has been proven is right. You could almost say Ali made a mockery of boxing when he was around in his hay day. I mean come on he even went as far as to change his name. Some of his promos where a crock. I've seen some videos of him belittling other boxers for their misfortunes and issue. He wasn't much of a classy person. Heck the why I understand it he even dodged the draft.Originally posted by GrocMax View PostMuhammad Ali had a total lack of respect for the sport of boxing, I guess.Nathan Stephens
