That would be the way it's typically done. Few places have an in-house lab that would be able to do the actual lab work involved. So, after the sample is collected, it's sealed and shipped to a lab. I'd be willing to bet this is how the test taken at the track are handled. The people collecting the samples probably just collect them, seal them and ship them to a lab. They probably aren't even qualified and don't even know how to perform the actual lab work.

Small minded people make Bloomquist look even worst trying defend his choice not taking the test. There is only one reason why someone doesn't take a drug test.
