No it doesn't excuse him for that but if that's what he's doing then that doesn't bother me as a fan. The biggest paying event since the million is coming up paying somewhere in the $150k range it's hard to argue with his work ethic for that event then.

Oh I don’t blame him for testing. Such is the name of the game in high level late model racing, however, he absolutely should have cut his testing short by a half hour or so to get to Sharon on time. That’s just piss poor time management.

Is this just interpreted to mean that you can't test at the specific track where the event is being held? Seems the "at any venue" phrase would mean no testing, anywhere.

Since the entire thread is about the Bloomquist garbage, yeah it was. After Lap 12, it turned into a 38 lap freight train on the bottom. Sharon sucks. 2 races, 2 absolute jokes of a race.

I just saw the video of the race. I did not see any holes or ruts in the track. What I did see was a race that was run in the daylight in 90 degree temperature and was OVER at 8:40 in the evening. This ended up being a daytime race on dirt. There are some dirt tracks in the country that produce good racing during the day but I have not been to any.

How can anyone support Bloomquist after this? He's a clown. Shows up late after being a hour away the night before and misses the 10 minute call. He had an easy top 5 last night instead threw away points because he's got to have an excuse for not winning. Tired of his antics. From what I hear he better win the Lucas title or theres going to be big changes next year.

Still having issues? There was never issues. It just took a long time to be built. Who knows what it was, coulda been a flat, coulda been the regen system, on a lot of vehicles they still aren’t very good. CAT had it figured out, Cummins did not. Or that was a piss poor excuse and they were just late.
