That said watching Birky race makes me smile and kinda sorry I missed so many years of watching him.

The people that trash his wife and trash his decision to step away clearly have no idea what it takes to race and the amount of time away from your family. No one says a word about other professional athletes walking away. No blame ever gets put on their family. Why is racing so different?
