Question. Do guys ever make chages to their car or do they run exactly what the chassis builder says to run? If they only do exacly what they are told to run and never expiriment they will never outrun the house cars. You're insane if you think they are giving identical setups to what they are winning with. I would hope they try different shocks and percentages to tweak and improve, isnt that part of the fun anyway?...

Yes, and it seems most get worse when they do. You can always tell who's been at Rocket chassis lately, bet Bronson is super fast out of the gate with the Rocket. 2 months from now, he won't be as fast when he starts making changes.

Maybe Scott hasn't come through with things he had said or maybe Kyle's sponsor/uncle doesn't want to be associated with ridiculous drama. Might be more to the story

You're right, it can go both ways. But most of the time, they're fast out of the gate with the new chassis and seem to get worse the longer they go IMO.

True, maybe I have trust issues I think Chassis company will give you a fast setup, but not their best, which im not saying they should, but thats why the 1 and the 0 win mostly, so thats why I say you should not do what my buddy did and try little things even if Chassis guy says no...

With that being said it's pretty fair to assume rocket is giving their best setup to these guys otherwise this wouldn't be the case. It would appear that alot of the big name racers have forgotten how they got to where they are and just wanna blame everything on engineers. Or somebody having something they don't. If their all fast and competitive out of the box then it comes down to the people making the decisions throughout the night. And they are just plain being out raced. Of course house cars have different stuff on them at times that's how they find the speed their selling. But I'll bet you money when that blue car or barry or any other get a little off. The baseline that they sell is where they go back to. What do chris madden, brandon Sheppard, and Scott bloomquist all have in common. The people who build and sell the cars are at the race track working and tuning on them. Their are things that aren't on that piece of paper they give you and as a racer it's your job to understand what you've changed and how to put it back

They are also doing some testing here and there. I think the Rocket1 just tested somewhere within the last 4-5 days.

The problem is it's super easy to get way out in left field just by tweaking a couple things on the setup.

Right. Lol. If you were looking for people that walk the straight and narrow, never, should you have went with Bloomer. Then again, you do know Kyle isn't a Pope also, correct?

They have too much money, and have the mentality that it’s everyone else’s fault. Should have never left Rocket before. The Dream cars are off this year. And SB cars don’t fit someone with no throttle control.

Many a times a guy is running poorly, then suddenly hits it and wins a race and then says, "We just went back to our basic setup". Heard this numerous times.
