Rules seem pretty clear on the issueChanging CarsA.) At the discretion of the Series Director, drivers may change cars at any time between Time Trials and the start of the A-Main. However, any change will result in the driver starting in the rear of his Heat Race, B-Main or A-Main. If a driver chooses to change cars after Hot Laps, that driver will remain in his drawn position for Time Trials. Drivers and teams should remember that once the Series officials have been notified of a car change, the car being withdrawn should not re-enter the event for any reason.

He's not going to win, but I'm pulling hard for Clay Daly. What an amazing story that would be.

Super nice guy and Family... what sucks is he’s done this before... win a Lucas heat and then he seems to miss the setup bad in the A... drops like a rock...

But I too am pulling for him

Heck of a run for Davenport. Could have been a disastrous night for the points leader, but he rallied for a good finish.

Should have been no points scored for Davenport. If Bloomquist had gone back to his original car after qualifying with a backup everyone would have been calling for his head. What a crock.

Huh. So that means JD is done for the night correct? Or running the original back up car. If he did switch and then go back to the original car, yes he should be not scored if that’s what the rules say. Joe shoulda caught that.

Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.
