The rest of that crew is abiding by a team owners decision but one member is doing what they are against. Lack of integrity and character in my opinion.

Clinton, I would bet if Kemp told Bobby you can not run any WRG sanctioned races as long as you drive for our team that he would not be running them. Do you really think Bobby is defying orders from Kemp?

First you have to know the facts before you even understand the situation. For one, Bob owns the 2 xr1's which are the cars they have been racing on the lucas tour all season, they have 1 car sitting in Dunn, but hasn't been touched all season, that car belongs to Kemp himself I believe. All Dunn-Benson motorsports is, is a shop to work out of, they provide a crew, and a hauler, it's basically a sponsor with them and Campbell on the car. Again, the cars belong to Bob Pierce, not Kemp Lamm. So if Bob wants to run those races with his own cars at Eldora, or any WoO/UMP race, DB Ford really has no say in it, other than of they want they're name displayed on the side of the car, which they don't. I dont know what the plan will be for a hauler, but I'm sure they'll figure that out when the time comes.

Back when Best Performance was having differences with the WRG, Brock told his team cars the same thing.

So the press release at the beginning of the season talked of Bobby relocating to NC to help with the weekly upkeep of the team. So if they are having maintenence issues shouldnt all you 4m Monday morning qb's blame him for that too?
As a fan who has no financial stake in any team, I could care less if Bobby has to throw his car away after every race. Sure it would suck for the team, but I'm not paying their bills.
At the start of a 100 lapper, you're going to find bobby pierce, richards, davenport, landers because they will be the show win or lose, good setup or missed setup, going forward or falling back. I'd rather watch guys like that instead of the other half of the field that is OK playing follow the leader the whole race.

You got a good point on the maintenance thing. Agree follow the leader sucks.
