Any Racetracks Near Outter Banks North Carolina?

I was wondering if there were any racetracks in or around the Outter Banks, North Carolina area. Next year we plan on taking a vacation at a rental house there. June 23 to June 30. Thanks. I don't car if it is asphalt or dirt.

just took a motorcycle trip up the east coast , spent 3 days on the outer banks , stayed at kill devil hills and loved it. I always ask about race tracks and was told nothing close by......

          From Manteo:

          Dixieland (dirt) = 1.5 hours
East Carolina (paved) - Robersonville = 1.75 hrs
County Line (dirt) - Elm City = 2.25 hrs
Carteret County (paved) - Cape Carteret = 3 hrs

Dixieland Speedway is approximately 1 1/2 hours from the outer banks. Small 3/8 mile grass roots track. Limited late models headline every week. Neat track with a great atmosphere.
