    Madden is The Man

He's(BShep) been running into the back of the 44 all year, side too. Stateline he ran Eckert clean lap after lap, not one wheel mark. Soon as he gets behind Madden(who is not in a Rocket) he door slams him and then on next restart puts him in the spin cycle. It would seem on that series if you don't race a particular brand you get raced differently. And if you dare mention it the 4m keyboard jockey's paint you as a cry baby. Well at least Madden isn't posting pouty girly messages on FB, then getting huffy and taking his stuff to the house...

Madden diamond off the corner on the restart at State line and Sheppard was already committed to the bottom going into turn one.

Here is he full video again. Are you referring to the incident at the 8:00 mark as door slamming? He wasn't even up to the door. The nose of Sheppard got into the rear quarter one of Madden a little. Look how deep both them guys drove it. You can see both hitting the berm.

              You were saying...

As the stars of the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series continued their “Week of Wisconsin” tour at the big ½-mile of Shawano Speedway on Tuesday night, one driver raced his way into a tie for the points lead after winning the Sundrop Shootout. Although Monday night’s 50-lap Wisconsin Refrigerated 50 winner Brandon Sheppard won the KSE Hard Charger Award, pole winner and driver of the No. 44 Century Plastics / Barry Wright Race Cars / Clements Racing Engines machine Chris Madden stole Sheppard’s thunder after dominating all 50 laps at the famed dirt track located west of Green Bay in Shawano, Wis.

The drop of the green flag, to start the 10th annual Sundrop Shootout, gave both the sixth Feature winner of the season as well as second-place starter Jonathan Davenport the chance to take over the 24-car field. Madden immediately pulled away from the field and opened a large advantage in the early going despite two cautions, both on lap seven as Tyler Bruening slowed on the backstretch as well as on the restart, which caused Outlaws Rookie title contender, Brent Larson to spin and slap the turn four wall.

On what would be the final restart of the race, Madden again raced out ahead of everyone else while 2015 series champion Shane Clanton was able to slip past Davenport for second. Although Clanton attempted to reel in the Gray Court, SC standout, Madden was able to get away from Clanton while methodically working his way through lapped traffic to keep plenty of cars and real estate between himself and the former two-time winner at the big ½-mile. Madden kept that comfortable advantage for the remainder of the race and cruised to his sixth Outlaws Feature win of the season and 21st of his career.

“I thank God for this win as well as the opportunity to race at big, high-speed tracks like this,” said Madden. “A lot of other drivers don’t like challenging places like this, but tracks like this are where I cut my teeth, and I also can’t thank my hard-working team and supportive sponsors enough for also making this possible.”

Thanks to his dominating win, Madden is now in a tie for the points lead alongside Mike Marlar heading into this weekend’s “Week of Wisconsin” wrap up at the 31st annual USA Nationals at Cedar Lake Speedway.

“I can’t say that I haven’t focused on the points, but it is not my main concern,” said Madden. “If we win races, we are going to win the points. If we run in the top two or three, we are going to have a shot at winning it. So, we are just going to continue to do the best that we can and be satisfied with what the good Lord gives us.”

I can’t stand people that whine and complain about everything. Just get in the (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) car and drive. Let the driving do the talking. Marlar would be my choice to win it. Met him at Knoxville, and he was super nice.

I wonder why he isn't going to the Mansfield race. Even though it's Lucas it's still pays $170+k to win. I can understand them not going to other Lucas shows but you'd think they would here.
