There is not really much if any advantage to having that funny steel in a car. It is more about repeatability.

yes, that is exactly what I would do! Change a chassis that I won crown jewel events in to be more like the one you I'm struggling with.

He hasn’t been struggling lately. Blowing up, breaking, and getting in wrecks, that is not on the car itself.

I’d never sell a car to a person that also builds them, or I thought was in the market to start building them. The writing is on the wall. Guess Mark and Bob have a heck of a lot of trust, because I would not do it for anyone.

I hear ya lol. Just me, if I was doing it as my livelihood, not selling to certain folks. Maybe Ray and Mark had an understanding that he was going to branch out, but I get your drift.

I would stick with it too. Their problems are maintenance, bad luck, and wrecks.

I guess setting fast time, blaming someone else for wrecking you in the heat race which you drove over your head and took yourself out, then winning the LCQ qualfies as dominating.

I still see quite a few cars with Pierce name on them. Are they still doing any future update or repair work?

if ole bob has not set that xr1 on his jig , then he is not near as sharp as i thought he was , but i feel pretty sure he is . And for the patent idea , its been thought of many times , but not worth the trouble , way to easy to change some insignificant piece and break the patent.....There is a chassis , and im not naming , that is winning a good many races around the south east right now that is a rocket rear and a long horn front , no patent could stop that , its mostly about geometry any way.......
