Question regarding Clay Daly

Just a little curious,if anyone can tell me what is up with the yellow light mounted on the roof. And before anybody replies with a yellow cab/ taxi remark I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with it

It has something to do with his car owner being able to see his car. I believe he's an older gentlemen so the light helps him pick Clay out of the pack.

Yeah, his car owner Pete Van Iderstine doesn’t see so well anymore and the light helps him see where his car is.

I crew on that car,and we race on some really dusty tracks sometimes. It was mostly for that reason Pete put it on.

Back when we flat towed we often kept out tow lights on all night because those 100w lights bulbs the tracks used made for some dark racing.
