    Weather

It is not impossible to predict the weather. Meteorologist's do it all the time. Hurricanes, tornadoes, winds, showers, amounts of rain. People tend to forget when they hit 9 out 10, they want to focus on the 1 out of 10 they might miss. For some reason Florence gets a lot of rain, just look at the past few years and rain outs.

The predictions are wrong 9 out of 10 times because it's impossible to predict weather accurately.

Remember that the Firecracker ran off as scheduled despite forecasters saying there was a 70% chance of rain all three days.

If you look at hourly forecasts (which i agree are not reliable especially days out; but have to build a pattern off something), tomorrow could be iffy; depends on amount.
The rest of the week should be fine; maybe just showers each day; but looks that there should be plenty of time to work the track back into shape and go for it.

Really? 9 out of 10? So if they predict no rain then it is almost sure to rain, by that thinking. hahahahaha

Looks like that 80% chance of rain Wednesday actually means only 10% people, so ignore those wet drops falling and race. hahahahahaa

Steady rain is always a problem. I doubt that happens this weekend. Down pours are possible and those can be overcome. All races should get in iMO> I live here BTW

Moderate morning and afternoon rains should not be a big problem. Hard compacted clay makes most of the rain run off. Rain at race time though is the real problem.

They never predict no rain. There's always at least a 10% chance so they can cover their asses. It's all a scam.

Meteorologists are scammers? So who's telling them what to forecast. And then how are they profiting?
