Alright, tired of reading some of the 'bad' boy stories... How about Nick Hoffman! I don't want to jinx him but I predict a big win in the near future. Nick has earned his way, great family and he did not grow up with a silver spoon in his mouth. Worked his way through the divisions, true success story.

His Dad and Uncle were the Harrison and Strickler back in the mid 90s, they always had great equipment. They owned they own motor shop before Darrell went off to NC but even with that I dont think they were rich by any means at all. I dont know the situation of how Nick got blessed with all his stuff and how he can race for a living at such an early age, but im happy for him he has def reached lofty heights, running that good with that competition only driving lm for about a year. Future is bright...Originally posted by EvelB7 View PostAlright, tired of reading some of the 'bad' boy stories... How about Nick Hoffman! They hooked up with the Allison’s, and used their valuable knowledge with the Elite cars. Yep, the Allison’s from NASCAR, that should make someone happyOriginally posted by Illtsate32 View PostHis Dad and Uncle were the Harrison and Strickler back in the mid 90s, they always had great equipment. Up in the air who my next “favorite†driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normalâ€.

I'm not going to pretend like I know the entire situation or what the deal was. But I do remember him running Limited Sportsman (Super Stock or whatever y'alls track calls it) at Cherokee Speedway in the late 00's. He had Carl Edwards Motorsports or something to that extent on his cars. Maybe a tie from both being from Missouri. I even believe he may have done a backflip or 2 but don't quote me on it. He was always a young tough competitor against the local veterans. It's really good to see him doing so well nowadays.

How old is he? Seems pretty composed, well spoken aswell. Not alot of drivers with talent would choose the north-south to make there latemodel debut with 0 test laps beforehand. He's almost got that " I dont feel pressure" look to him. Hope he continues to make strides.

I think Darrell (Nicks Dad) Nick were close with Mike Mittler and Edwards and Mittler were close and they all got connected..I remember in 2002 Edwards drove one of Dean Hoffmans modifieds on fair night at Belle Clair, so there was ties somewhere...
