You apparently don't understand this either. Have you noticed that all big races are sanctioned other than Eldora? There is a reason for that. Let me try to explain this. The series agreed a long time ago to allow Eldora to run their big shows without interference. Earl was a master promotor and established these two stand alone races. The series back then was a small deal. Now its a big deal and if you want cars at your big events, you better have them sanctioned. You might want to talk to some promotors before you come on here with all this silliness

There is only so many weekends to race so Lucas oil and the WOO try not to step on each other crown jewel races. Without the sanctions they would each probably schedule races the same weekend as the crown jewel races. So you would see the fields cut in half. So what would you rather see provisionals or watered down fields. Sanctions brings in the top drivers.

People don't come and pay to see their favorite drivers sitting out the features, the drivers that make Lucas what it is take precedence. They are proven top notch drivers, and having not made the feature just because of things like the track not being passable in the heats, thus no passing points, or flat tires, being wrecked and not being able to finish a heat, among other things should not put them out for the night.

The little guys doesn't get into the big races very often, just because of the misfortunes of the series regulars.

Yep, Jerry King told me that he wanted stand alone N/S. Well, that did not go over very well after a couple years. With major series scheduling races it became crunch time. One other note, Jerry did get angry at WOO when they were first starting their series. According to him, they tried to strong arm him into using their sanction. When it came time for the changing times, Lucas was a no-brainer. I think the first couple years WOO scheduled against the N/S and several drivers in the series protested and WOO relented.

And now years later, you have one WOO guy show up for the N/S.

Your right, It gets old watching them stop and get their car worked on, on the track and they get their spot back. Sadly the Lucas oil series is getting to look like a cancer to the sport. And what about the way Scott drove thru the infield pit road under caution. That was one of the most dangerous things I have ever seen. They should have parked him for the night after that. Hes really lucky he didnt kill someone.

I don't understand why they let anybody with a pit pass cross the track and go to the infield. I can see pit crews with their tires, tools, etc. being there but what about all those other people? I saw a woman pulling a little red wagon with a baby in it across the track to the infield! WTH is up with that?

That had to do with WOO running several nights in a row ending last Tuesday or Wednesday. Usually several WOO drivers make the trip but tired and burned out from their long tour far away. Did WOO do that on purpose? Maybe, who knows

Yea. Rocket1 alone was on the road for 6 weeks. Mark Richards actually flew back I believe a few weeks in because his grandchild was born. You knew at least the top 3 weren't going to be there. They are in a close points battle and they need to go back and regroup. Gotta remember they have families too.

Idk that answer...I do know that Bshep was willing and able to drive this weekend. Just at another venue which I assume he felt there was a better chance to win.

Especially when between 3 races their was $20,000 close to home. Jacksonville is almost in his back yard. Had a lot of fans there.

Marlar was at Florence, but broke an engine on Wednesday and loaded up.
