A New Track being built in Kansas City Area

The old I70 Speedway (asphalt) has been rotting for some time. New owners are restoring it and deep sixing the pavement and going DIRT! This is a rare thing these days. I hope they do it up right and are successful. This is just east of KC area.

Will be interesting to see what divisions they decide to race there.

It was dirt for a time in the 80's, youtube has several WoO events there on dirt.

I believe this is where Bob Keselowski broke the wall and flipped in a truck in the 90's.

First time I ever heard of kyle Busch was at I-70 in a truck race ...... before craftsman ever made em into stars ..... hornaday, skinner, bliss... for maybe 20 bucks tops at the time!! Fond memories an I ain't about asphalt... but good racing.

This track was on the trucks original schedule. Back when they had halftime.
