Very true. But a lot has changed in the last couple years. Not everyone gets that info at the same time. Some of it you get with a new car and don't even realize what you got. Some of it has to be told.

Even if a house car gave out it's exact setup, it's not going to work for everybody. The very best setups are tailored to the driver, and no two drivers drive exactly the same way.

Just thinking out loud... and I am a Marlar fan and know that he is a great wheeler, but isn't he in the hunt for a WOO Championship? In Rocket equipment? Seems a little a risky to switch up at this point in the game regardless of the "beef." Best of luck to the 157 team the rest of the year!!!!

Ive said this before, but the worst thing that happened to late model racing is the XR1.
Rumley’s redesigning of the Longhorn was first, not the XR1. That’s where it snowballed. And it is debatable whether Rumley actually helped on the XR1 or not. I heard rumors other than here that he certainly did, but I’ve never seen it printed anywhere. The Longhorn and then the XR1 got us to the $40k plus rollers.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Sure all of that is correct but wonder if some drivers / owners understand that or what they expect. Forgive me with what some will think is not an apples to apples comparison. Kelly Shryock’s company, Skyrocket, supplied the dominant chassis for USMTS competitors in the 90s and early 2000s. Until guys began to realize they would never be consistently competitive against him running the same stuff.
            I hate time trials.

Didn't say that at all actually.... just not sure that I would make the move at this point and time (possibly after the WOO season ends) when I've been running so well.Pretty sure there is not an NFL team out there that is sitting 2nd in the standings heading into the home-stretch that would change their quarterback out for any reason other than injury..... Bowhunting starts today in AZ - I'm not going to the store to buy a new bow today when I know the one have has been working really well....Get my drift?????

I'll say it since no one else will....he's in big trouble with the points now. He's only 22(?) points out of 1st place with just over a handful of races left. If he really is going to switch completely over to Longhorn I think he's making a big mistake. Look at the other Longhorns right now, they're all struggling and trying to find something that works.

I'm guessing you same people where up in arms couple weeks back when JD decided to switch up engine combos .... leading the lucas points? Either these guys or someone around them is typically smart enough to keep themselves from shooting themselves in the foot based off changes they make at any point in the season... or they wouldn't be where they are at.... man if we all knew the stuff these guys did when they venture off from standard setup stuff regularly to find a tenth .... this place might go crazy ... If him an his owner want a kryptonite or Swartz who gives a rip I'd be willing to bet they won't let go of there best "to them" rocket car till seasons end an it'll stay In the hauler regardless of what he does.

                          Madden's longhorn is working fine.

So you're saying he has Longhorn figured out and can make them work better than Rumley?
