Yes, zero points for that night. 6 groups points vs 2 nights of 1 driver points. Max You can get after changing driver rest of the week would be 50 points, that if he wins it out.

If that's true , that's wrong IMO. Just the driver you switched for. What's the difference if they pick late or tomorrow.

Well it doesn't matter to me. I'm not treating this like its some kind 50k to win prize like some of you are. If I screwed up, that's on me, and I dont need any of the rest of you to tell me what I done wrong, that's for dch to say. If that's true, then I read it wrong. No big deal.

That right if you sent your picks in hr after dead line. you pick goes in for tomorrow. Meaning you get zero points for that night. Your points start the next night. Think dch is right about changing a driver after dead line. It should fall into same as sending picks after dead line.

Specially if driver is there and changing him out for another driver. That like driver A came in last, then you want change him out next night. Also I Think this what the zero points over all is for, make sure people don’t start that. If you do you going take a hit, it might not pay off to change picks for no reason.

If you changed marlar to Sheppard, for example, after the the deadline, you get 0 points across the board for tonight. That means every group will get a 0 for you tonight, not just the group you changed. The reason for that is if I look at the picks when I’m entering everything into my spreadsheet and it says you edited your picks half an hour after the deadline, how do I know what you changed? Yes I know you could add another comment about who you want to change but then that opens the discussion of how late can you change drivers and it could go on from there. I don’t mean to sound like I’m complaining or anything, I’m just trying to make it as cut and dry as I can. If your in before the deadline your good. If I see a timestamp after the deadline, then you miss out the first night. That’s as simple as I can make it.

I know this whole thing has been a little chaotic from time to time with this being the first year I’ve done this and someone else will be taking over the points in October so they may do things a little differently, but until then this is the best way I see to do it.

Sorry if I’ve pissed anyone off in the process. I know this is just for fun and doesn’t cost anybody anything but it can really stress a guy out from time to time

Haven't made me mad. I just didn't know if I would be up in time to change it for tomorrow. I guess I shouldve just waited til after midnight to do change. I read the post wrong, that's on me.

Dch no problem and ya thats covers it, you wouldnt know who they changed and people would be changing multiple drivers if they have a bad night, so to nip it in the bud any editing after the deadline zero points for night 1 easy and simple...

dch, you've done a great job. Your reasoning for doing it that way is spot on, and makes total sense.
