Hope this don't get cancelled due to lack of early ticket purchases.

Not sure I'll recover from the Wilmot fiasco in time to be interested in this one.

Track was choppy, especially turns 1 & 2 outside of the bottom grove. Caution fest all night. Lots left on the hook. Over 4 hours to run 4 classes and the longest race was 30 laps. They saved the Late Models for last too.

There was breaks all night. Mostly to tow a car off. Just too long for me. Was that the modified that had 3 cautions and three cars towed off before they completed 2 laps? 4 hours for 4 classes and it wasn't even intermissions. Just cautions.

Modifieds and Sprints were 20 lap features. I missed the beginning of street stocks. Don't know if they were 15 or 20 laps. Only 1 race more than 20 laps and 4 hours?

Lately just LaSalle, Kankakee, and Wilmot. Stopped going to Kankakee weekly a few years ago when I got tired of getting home at 1am or so every week. They seem to be doing much better now. I just think the track was rough and all the cautions got boring Saturday night. Hard to imagine first time fans being impressed and wanting to go back. More like people were leaving early. Especially those with kids. Looked like a flagman was frustrated throwing the yellow yet again also. I'd imagine the drivers get tired of it too? Maybe it's me? Getting old and grouchy? haha

The Wilmot modifieds are brutal. Have been that way for many years. I went there every week for many years a long time ago. Now I average once per year.

I wouldn't let that stop you from going to LaSalle. It may run long, but it will be a great show.

The track was rough. Nothing like the smooth track for the Summernationals. wrecks all nigh in all classes. But you're right LaSalle is looking good. I've calmed down. haha

Oh, how could I forget to mention Sycamore? I spent most of the late model feature sitting in the ambulance getting my head patched up from from getting hit by a rock during the Summernationals. Lots of blood.
