I ran at Volusia in my mod...started the main at 18F... Wore my snowmobile suit.

If your sleeping bag isn't warm enough, you can get another 20 degrees with a surplus army blanket, doubled and sowed across bottom and half way up the side. Helps with moisture in the cold also. Old Scoutmaster trick for the poor kids in the troop. Wool keeps you warm, even if you Perspire in it.

I would much rather be in the October Ohio "cold" than the Talladega warm!! Hate that I can't make it back! We willingly go to the "Ice Bowl" in Jan at Talladega! Coldest I recall was in the 20's!! Though we did have propane heaters! Enjoy if you can make it!

It was so humid yesterday, it was hard to breathe. The air was even still warm and heavy last night and early this morning.

Invest in a IWOM, you'll never get cold. They're great for hunting in 20 degree temps, you'll be cozy.
