Late 80's early 90's MasterSbilt was like Rocket today, everywhere. Prior to the, "On The Hook" madness there was an ebb & flow to things. Now kinda like the rest of our economy, too much is controlled by too few. Would like to see MasterSbilt back in the frey, but its kinda up to them and how much money they want to put behind it. JMO

What are you talking about? Theres way more chassis brands today than 20/25 years ago. You make it sound like MasterSbilt has been forgotten for the last 25 years. They were winning big races just a few years ago.

A few wins on a national tour would be a shot in the arm.

Put 1/2 the field in Mastersbilts and the odds of winning go up!

I’d like to have that problem as a chassis builder.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

I like Tater, but if he would spend as much time revamping Mastersbilt chassis as he did whining about racing nowadays they might be great again.

The Gen X car was very dominant when it came out. The early 2010s was a good time for Mastersbilt. Way more brands today? Not too sure about that. There used to be TONS of small and regional builders.

No, you misunderstood me. There may be dozens of Rocket copies builders, but I don't count knock offs as actual builders, they are just duplicators. As to Mastersbilt you have to admit, like 8 to 10 years ago they were pretty hot and gaining momentum, then Don left, the team folded and like somebody turned out the lights MasterSbilt all but vanished from the big stage. Hey, don't blame me, it was Tader who posted, "Make MasterSbilt great again", so he's aware they have slipped from national conversation. Be honest, only 2 brands are currently considered national series worthy, Rocket and Longhorn. I myself like Barry Wright and know his cars are more than capable at the top level, but the belief of the Twitter generation is if nobody is running them they must not be any good. Perception is everything nowadays, true or not. The MasterSbilt piece is probably still fantastic, but that is the public perception. I'm NOT knocking MasterSbilt, ok.

I only mentioned the 80's-90's time frame because to me that is when they were at there most wide use and popularity, they were the, "IT" car. The MasterSbilt, "wide car" is one of the all time great designs and Keith said it himself they finally had to refuse to build them anymore because people kept asking for them. The '"Narrow" was good too, but by then GRT was the "Most Popular" chassis. "Smack, Smack-B & GEN-X" were good too, but somebody turned out the lights it seems and poof. Popularity use to Ebb & Flow and we use to have more Nationally potent cars at the same time.

Take STARS and/or HAT in the early 90's, you had Bullitt, Rocket, Rayburn, Barry Wright, MasterSbilt and GRT every week on the national tours, all getting wins. Today on both tours, if we are honest only 2 brands are perceived as being capable of winning at that level, Rocket/Longhorn. Even though BWRC has won many races this season on the WoO tour many on here whenever it comes up of, "who's chassis to buy?". They say they won't buy a BWRC until somebody else wins with it or until more people are running them... So even winning today isn't enough anymore, now you have to over populate the field in order to be perceived as worthy. MasterSbilt is plenty worthy and capable, just not visible enough for the twitter generation.

I'm sorry the 4m & Twitter crowd say that's not good enough. To be legitimate you need a 1/3 population of any and all Crown Jewel features. Otherwise it was a fluke. Essentially no matter what, somebody else must win in one before it counts.
