    Cool Central IL Late Model legends race at Jacksonville IL

    Not sure if it was posted yet but they are running race with some former Central Il late model drivers. This is going to be with tonights program (Friday Oct 19th). I believe they will be in crate late models, but for anyone who remembers these guys it is a pretty cool list of names. I took this from the Jacksonville Facebook, go there for more info just thought I would help spread the word. Here is a list of drivers

      Great to see (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) Taylor in the show. Won't forget the legendary Cardinal car.

      I did not know his first name was "not a nice word". All the years I saw him race at Little Springfield, Macon and Farmer City I never heard him introduced as "not a nice word" Taylor. Are they going to introduce him at the start of the legends race tonight as "not a nice word" Taylor? Let me and others know if they do.

          Gotta love chat room censorship, eh? Unfortunately I was unable to attend. I did hear joe Ross jr won. Man i would love to see him in a super at macon one more time!

              It's all good. Those were good days when local legendary drivers slung around Macon and the neighbor tracks. I would have loved to have heard some bench racing with those guys. I was betting on Stevie Sheppard last night.

              One thing I'll never forget about (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) Taylor was his open trailer that would haul two cars. He had a unique hydraulic system that would lift one car over the other. I think the other car was his son's. It was fun just to watch him load up in the pits after the races.

                  One of the best races I have ever watched was at the bond county fairgrounds in Greenville with D!ck Taylor, Jim Leka and lumpy lourghy.
