Dlmfan123 - I know where your coming from.
I posted it that way because people always b.s. or whine about the big drop in payouts.
If there ever was to be a big payout like that then there would be no reason to whine.
Also it would help the lower budget teams who decided to enter big event like this one the chance to participate in a big race and make a buck.
As a fan and mod crew guy I love watching the other classes as well.
If I ever hit the lottery I'd love to have the chance to put on a race like this and give the lower budget teams a chance to earn a good check.
I'm all about giving back to the weekly guys who help build the sport on put on the shows at the weekly races.

Start money 10% of winners take, and a gradual percentage difference from there. Just a touch less than you maybe, but pretty close to that. I think racers are still going to race.

And I’d choose modifieds. You’d draw more.

Either Atomic, Eldora, Florence, FALS, or Sharon Speedway if they could ever get their crap together. It’s a good place.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Huge purses like that tend to keep the weekly guys away though. That’s the paradox.

No one likes going there is the issue. They have struggled to get full fields for their series races for a long time.

                    Tow money is too high.
Purse money is too close together to attract hard racing.
Tazewell couldn't hold it as there's not enough room to park that many haulers.

Two venues in the South that could pull it off would be Magnolia and Talladega.

Let me guess you have shown Up for many “ we can’t survive on 7.25 “ rally’s ? If your going to post something why not something realistic ?? And if your just burning someone else’s money anyway why not make it 250k to win and 25k to start that way it can be the biggest paying race ?? Wait how about 250k to win and 220k for 30th ?? And 275k tow money ??

1 Million to win, and nothing there after.

No tow $$, no show up $$, nothing.

Free from there, Fans, Entry etc.

See who has the brass to show up.

                        Just say no...

This thread is why lottery winners go broke. The thinking should be how could I create a great paying race and make it profitable to me?

It would be great to put on a race that paid a lot through the back but to do that you gotta put up a lot up front. If you give $100,000 and pay something like...
                            1. $100,000
                            2. $50,000
                            3. $40,000
                            4. $30,000
                            5. $25,000
All the way to last getting $10,000 to start. Then it could help for better racing for more money. Love the idea of all the races but maybe just payout a lot less those nights (as they are qualifying races) and put that money on the main show and maybe a non-qualifier as well.

If I won the lottery I don’t think I’d mess around with promoting a race and putting up with the BS of social media whining. If I won the lottery I’d start a racing team consisting of Birky, Brady and Schlieper and pay them a funk ton of $ to come out of retirement. I guess Birky kind of is out of retirement but I still feel like that ain’t gonna last. That’s why I’d pay him a funk ton and make sure it lasts.
