I'm pretty sure this race will not be made up...Billy is broke. The place needs Beverly back. I wouldn't be surprised if EAMS is open next year....

Wow, if true! I heard they bought Albany Speedway & NLMS, so they had some money then! Don't know if Bev would come back. Jimmy Thomas must be rolling in his grave! They destroyed the Bama Bash in a few years & now the Grand Daddy National weekend is heading downhill fast, certainly the last few years! We may just go to North GA this weekend and forget about the National.

Not “they” just Billy. Billy, William and Alexis were supposed to take EAMS to the next level when Bev left. Looks like the laugh is on them. Everything Billy touches turns to dirt (no pun intended).

Also, people buy things all the time without having money. Don’t let that fool ya. They never bought AMS. That fell through and the series is barely hanging on thanks to Billy’s ways. I doubt it comes back next year too.

You can either buy with cash or buy with “ leverage “ and buying with leverage never made much sense to me when the profit would be burned with interest

Been there several times it takes forever also way too much home cooking esp if your are a Thomas or someone in the click with them some of the things I saw them do were kind boggling.

I say Jan 26-27 2019. Alot of teams are already south testing. Why not have a test session with money on the line. I'm pretty sure it would help the car count.

Most cars are not finished to race at that time and I don't think that date would help the fan count at all.

I know last year people were shorted money at payoff plus the DJ at one of the races was not paid I don't know if that was ever resolved.

25k at EAMS just means the guy that wins will make roughly 50 cents an hour.

LeMans ain’t got sh1t on EAMS. More classes than a large university, and worse time management than a major airline.

If they have not announced a date by now I don't see how they could. The only logical solution would be before or after Speedweeks in my opinion. They certainly won't make it up this year in December!

I hate that this race isn't getting run this year. It's been one of the year end big races for as long as I've been following dirt late models.


I was off the week following the National 100 last year. I stayed up late watching the marathon race of attrition that McDowell won.
