JMO, but unless a driver wins several CJ's (4-5?), driver of the year has to be the WoO or Lucas points champion..again JMO

Example: Dale McDowell wins World, Dream, LM Nats, Show-Me AND has several wins regionally, would be tough to vote against him, or at the least, be considered, especially in a year like this where there wasn't an obvious driver of the year.

I live with fear, but sometimes she lets me race.

Michael has ONE vote among TEN.

Though Sheppy didn't win the championship he won a TON of races in BOTH series and ran well against top level competition when they were together. He was in the WoO championship chase most of the year and if not for probably 3 really BAD nights he would have been atop the WoO standings. He passes the eye test for me and will get my vote.

All around best driver of the year, even though he wasnt even the best driver in the series he ran? Makes sense...Madden broke multiple times while leading this year too otherwise hed of been atop the woo standings...

                    Bloomer DUH

                    1.)Brandon Sheppard or JD
                    2.)Mike Marlar
                    3.)Bloomer or Richards

                    Most improved-Ricky Weiss
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Mike Marlar......was impressive his first year running a national series! Went to a lot of tracks he had never seen before!

Whoever makes the calls on his car was usually spot-on!

If Sheppard would of won a few crown jewels with his resume now, id have no problem with him getting it, but just the USA Ntls, without the series title, I cant get behind it..jmo

It doesn't make sense to pick someone that didn't win a tour championship but I'll say Earl.

He won more money than anybody with a team that most (including I) didn't think they would fare that well.

                            Why didn't you expect success?

EPJ won alot of money because 1 race paid alot to win. Realistically though he had 6 wins.

I don't think Sheppard should be #1 either, but I can't see him lower than #3.
