Is Earl related to him? Always wanted to ask but never want to bother him. I know David is from South Carolina and Earl just across the line in FL. I think I heard David did some kind of dirt racing in his retirement before his stroke. Just curious.Comment

Very sad to hear. He was my Dad’s favorite driver. And I loved his demeanor. My brother a few years back got his autograph for my Dad. Now that they have both passed on maybe they’ll meet.

The first nascar race I seen live was at Darlington and Mr. Pearson won about 1974 I believe. After that I always liked him. RIP Sliver FoxComment
