...if you stayed for the whole show it was closer to 9 hours, the SLM feature alone was over an hour...but then again, where can you get 9 hours of entertainment for $20/$35...

And who wants 9 hrs of “entertainment “?
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

9 hours? Example of how hard core fans will tolerate it but bet your bottom dollar there were casual fans there that won’t be back.

Just going by what they said on the live stream. No disrespect intended. He had them covered until that point.

Just another race track that has to qualify 180 some cars, when it took somewhere around 3 1/2 hours to do so. There were families with young children that got up and left before qualifying was even over with. I'm sure those people will never be back. Everyone says support your local track, but sh!t like this seems to happen EVERY TIME!!! The track itself had a PA system that nobody could hear but maybe the first 4 rows, & a scoreboard that wasn't working. How are fans supposed to stay in gauged with what is going on? and this track has a WOO & Lucas race next year???? I will definitely be skipping the hangover race.

I was going to make a couple of trips up there next year but after seeing this I might need to rethink that.

My wife & I went down for thanksgiving in gatlinburg .... We drove over for practice the night before .... We didnt stay for the race but I liked the ideal we could stay play around in the gatlinburg/pigon forge area and go to a dirt race all in the same trip was pretty cool ....

Hopefully, you'll reconsider and come to visit us next year. Saturday was absolutely not the normal at 411. With nearly 200 cars on the grounds, it did take much longer to run the program than we would have liked for it to have taken. Our normal weekly shows usually run around 3-4 hours depending on the car count. We also had several wrecks and oil laydowns that slowed the program down quite a bit. Both of our WoO races were run with only 2 support classes to keep the show rolling, but still, give the fans their monies worth of racing. We appreciate your attendance and hopefully you'll give 411 another chance.

While this may not be typical, a lot of this could be solved by running heat races. No point to be at a racetrack that long and have hours where there are no races. The southern philosophy of no heat races continues to prevail.

I went to a track last year that had transponders and timed the cars during hot laps I had always wondered why race tracks didn't do that.

Oh yeah. I wish more places would do it. Wanna say Sharon or Atomic has done it. Not all classes maybe, but the lower ones, yeah, hot lap qualifying.

Wish had money to burn. Would buy a decent track down south hire good prep person and show how real racing done. 4 divisions hot laps heats and features. Pill draw for heats redraw top 6-8 for features. Last feature done by 11 goal and start hotlaps at 630 racing 730....that's how regular night should go! Fans then get what they paid to see.....
