These picks are completely separate from the year long fantasy picks points and are for nothing more than bragging rights.
Picks will be due by noon central time Thursday.
Since this is a one off event, we’ll be using a different scoring system and points will be awarded for time trials, heats, Friday’s A mains, and Saturdays finale.
We’ll be using Olympic scoring which basically means where your driver finishes in each event is how many points you get with the low score being the winner.
If a driver doesn’t make it thru the B main then they’ll get points for last place plus 5. (If 20 cars go to the A then a B main not transfer will score a 25). C main will be plus 10 and D plus 15.
*Now to the important part. DRIVER PICKS.
Group 1
Pick any 2 late model drivers
Group 2
Pick any 2 modified drivers
Group 3
Pick any 2 midget drivers
**if a driver no shows or pulls out early, that driver will receive whatever the high score is for that event plus 5.
***your best 5 finishes from each event (time trials, heat, Friday featured, Saturday features) will count toward your final total. The worst finish, regardless of division, will be dropped from each event.
